The refurbishment and upgrading of facilities at RAF Northolt constituted a major undertaking for the company - a multi-phase project comprising no fewer than 18 buildings, many running concurrently

Encompassing a far-reaching and ambitious scheme of regeneration and refurbishment to provide new logistical, medical and leisure facilities whilst maintaining base operational status at all times, Gale Construction were consulted by the main contractor and architect at an early stage in the design process to overview the project and advise on technical specifications and detailing. Careful design management enabled us to formulate a programme of works involving an 18 month continuous residence on site to meet the programme requirements of the base Management.
